 Hazel

A family in the near future grapples with the limitations of a remote existence, tackling day-to-day issues at the edge of the world. While reality shifts in multiple ways, two daughters struggle with the gripping effects of dementia, climate change and family tragedy. This play questions how we cope with the rising tide of denial as our lives slip away and out of our control.

Bobby James is an appliance salesman in small town, post-fact America and he has a story he thinks you should hear. While searching for the details of his friend’s death in Afghanistan, he unwittingly stumbles upon a wanted terrorist, setting him on the riskiest of adventures, without ever leaving his living room. Inspired by a true story, this ordinary guy finds himself in extraordinary circumstances as his friendships and sanity are tested, leading him to ask: what do loyalty, trust and heroism mean to you?
